I first joined Konecranes in 2004 as a sales assistant for the hoist & components department. Since then I’ve held positions of growing responsibility, namely those of a sales engineer, senior sales engineer, and marketing manager. Right now my official title is Marketing Manager, Industrial Cranes, China. The job provides a wide perspective on the business, not just internally, but also on the customer side.
Focus on what’s important
My responsibilities involve taking care of marketing activities such as advertisements, exhibitions and product launches. I also do competitor analyses, provide business development support and manage and follow up sales leads. Whether in marketing or in engineering the focus is the same – we’re here to lift the businesses of our customers. Only the right and best solution will do for our customers.
