Buddy knows best

I first heard about Konecranes from an old Navy buddy who said what a great company Konecranes was and suggested that I join him in the company. That was back in 1998. I started as a service technician in Cleveland, Ohio and then moved on to Raleigh, North Carolina. My first job here in Jacksonville was as a lead inspector, after which I progressed from service supervisor to service manager and now branch manager. It’s been great.

Meeting customer challenges

I’m responsible for managing and directing the local business and traveling to jobsites for sales, operations, estimating and customer relations. A key part of the job is raising safety and reliability standards to a superior level among our customers. Much of the groundwork is done during the operator training classes I hold for our customers. I love the job – especially the new challenges and the opportunity to meet new people.

Looking for bigger and better things
